Velvet Wayz Moves Closer to One Connected Intelligence

Velvet Wayz connected intelligence engineering update

New foundations unify privacy, posts, snapshots, and evidence intelligence across the Velvet Wayz experience.

This update is about architecture and user experience—not hype. Velvet Wayz remains an active proof of concept, but the newest server-validated foundations move the system closer to the connected operating model planned from the beginning.

One Velvet

A central Velvet OS runtime now coordinates 14 declared engines covering intent, awareness, observation, reasoning, conversation, trust, learning, contribution, memory, permissions, navigation, vision, safety, and personality. The goal is not a pile of disconnected features. The goal is one intelligence coordinating specialized capabilities across the Velvet ecosystem.

Privacy by Permission

Velvet is being built around a clear principle: Velvet may know broadly, but disclose narrowly. The live policy foundation supports allow, summarize, restrict, and deny decisions, including protections for strangers, blocked users, message participants, active location sharing, and owner-private account information.

This is a live foundation, not a claim that every product surface is already fully integrated. Privacy is a design discipline, not an absolute promise.

One Post Everywhere

Road Feed and Profile now use the same canonical post behavior and interaction state. Profile is an owner-filtered view of the same authorized post objects—not a second post system with different reactions, comments, shares, menus, or location behavior.

A central Canonical Post Authority foundation now handles key post reads, post IDs, identity enrichment, normalization, and location enrichment while preserving the current response shape and user experience.

A Cleaner Snapshot Experience

The Map Capture control is now Snapshot. It captures one outward-facing still image, then Velvet asks what the post should say and presents a preview with Edit, Discard, and Continue actions.

Hazard Report keeps its separate evidence-video workflow. Intentional social-video creation remains outside Map mode, so the two jobs do not compete with each other.

Structured Evidence Intelligence

An approved snapshot can now be represented by one structured evidence record containing processed media, location, heading, vehicle or trip context, vision observations, caption fallback, and owner-only authenticated access.

Blank captions do not have to become blank posts. The foundation supports an evidence-grounded draft from the image and trusted same-user context, with preview and user approval required before publication.

The system does not automatically publish everything it sees, and it does not automatically create hazard, maneuver, or map-correction reports from every capture.

The Work Continues

These are major verified engineering foundations, but the work is not finished. Phone proof for Feed and Profile parity and Snapshot behavior remains active. Server-side audience enforcement and deeper end-to-end Snapshot-to-post-to-evidence integration also remain in progress.

Status: Live server-validated foundations. Active integration and phone validation continue.

Built for the People. Not the Few.
